Can anyone tell me should we consider transportation and insurance charges under cst and vat for calculation.

19 November 2011 VAT / CST not required to caluculate on Transport and Insurance , It comes under service tax perview...If the transport charges included in the sale price VAT / CST will be applicable on total value of the sales invoice
