Dear expert
company is paying rs 8000 pm rent to landlord on the behalf of it's employee, as per section 192(1A) employer is liable to deposit the tax with out deducting tds. kindly help me how to calculate the tax liability on this...

1. Add Rs. 96000 (8000X 12) to the salary of the employee. Calculate the tax amount. Find out the average rate of tax.
2. Multiply 96,000 with the average rate of tax.
3. The resultant figure is the tax to be paid by the employer u/s 192(1A).

Dear sir
his salary is 720000 PA, in which this 96000 will be add then 816000 less exemption limit 250000 nat salary is 566000, 250000*10=25000 and balance 316000*20%= 63200, gross tax liability is 88200 less rebate 87A 88200-2000=86200/12=7183.33 rs will be tds pm, plz tell me above calculation is correct or not.
