17 October 2011 Ms A Agarwal,
'C' forms are issued as a confirmation of sale of taxable goods by one registered dealer to another(in other State)and to avail concessional rate of tax(now 2% only).It is also used to confirm a series of sales(in interstate sales)to avoid second and third incidence of tax on the same goods.
'F' forms are used to acknowledge stock transfer of goods between branches and a pricipal and his agent(also reverse),free of tax.
These forms are issued by the registering authority(LVO)and proerly recorded in a format register.Now they can be obtained through on-line from the web sites of respective tax departments and authenticated by concerned VAT office.
