Dear sir,
Our newly start up company TIN & CST was cancelled due to unavoidable circumstances. We came to know the cancellation after receive the cancellation order form Joint Commissioner- TAX.
We want to know the following;
1. Whether we must reactivate the TIN & GST before going to get the GST registration number (or) without reactivation shall we proceed directly to register GST.
2. For the reactivation, proprietor need to go directly to tax office to do the reaction process or any authorized person can do
3. During the cancellation period, shall we do business (buy & sell).
Kindly give your valuable suggestion for the above mentioned queries to reactivate the TIN & CST then followed by to register GST process.

Now 4 days back we got an letter subjecting to non filing of IT returns based on my father's pan card. Please advise what to do.

If I forget to open capital gain account scheme within 1 yr before the due date of filling return, can I invest it in capital gain account scheme after this? Or shall I have to pay capital gain tax inspite of my purchasing property within 2 yrs as I did not invest in capital gain account scheme?

Sir
My brother had deposited total Rs. 2,14,000 in two of his bank accounts (Rs. 200000 in one account and Rs. 14000 in another account of different bank) during demonetization. The money he deposited was borrowed from friends and relatives for meeting expenses of his daughter's ensuing marriage. He does not have taxable income as he runs small shop of petty things.
Please advice whether deposit of Rs. 214000 in bank during the period of demonetization entails in compulsory filing of ITR? He does not want to file ITR as he does not have taxable income and he assumes that if once filed, there would be a liability of filing ITR every year despite not falling in taxable income group.
Please provide your valuable opinion in this regard.
Regards
I have 2 new proprietorship businesses (one trading of goods and other offering services) and applied as new registrant for GST under 1 PAN. While I had put a trade name at time of registration, the legal name of business reflecting in my profile on the GST portal is my individual name only as shown on PANcard. I have 2 queries
1- How do I issue invoices and purchase goods for the 2 businesses - in legal name i.e. individual name ? or trade name? considering my trade names are not reflecting in GST profile.
2- How do I add trade names of my 2 businesses for this GST number on GST portal
