related to my earlier query 2/7/09

i have online trading income through demat account on daily basis.And now i want to know that under which head it will be taxable in my hands.if their is 2 solution then which is benfical to me if i have loss in it.and i m expecting gain in next year.Can i have option to take it as under head Business OR Capital gain income


if i file return under head business and profession,then i have to maintain proper books of accounts also because my turnover exceed 40 lacs.but i read somewhere that income of trading in equity shares is section 111, which is a short term capital gain/loss.please guide me under these condition

Tariff headings/sub-headings ?

Dear experts,

Could you please explain what are Tariff headings/sub-headings and what is included under these headings??

My query is concerning to the topic of 'can the test of change in tariff headings/sub-headings be adopted for identifying whether a process amounts to manufacture'

Whether a private Ltd. Company can collect Share Application Money in excess of Rs. 20,000/- in CAsh. Whether Sec. 269SS and 269T of IT Act, 1961 are applicable for Share Application Money.

Centralised Service Tax

Can anyone please guide me on the procedure of applying for centralised service tax. And normally how many days does it take to complete the procedure.?

Also how to intimate the service tax department regarding the shifting of registered office. Is there a specific form or a letter will suffice

Book profit

Can tax paid on the profit calculated u/s115JB be adjusted against normal Income tax - if the profit exceeds?

TDS at a lower Rate?


Whether the CA can avail the Certificate from IT Dept u/s. 197 and get a lower tds from his client. The important point here is the CA is a fresher .

Pls clarify my doubt at the earliest.

dear sir, would any body tell me what is the procedure to file income tax return in india as per income tax law if the person employed outside india and have paid Tax through TDS for 10 months.
