Transfer pricing or ifrs or other

Hello Sir/ Mam

I have completed my CA in August 2013. But recently i have to move to California USA temporary due to my husband short term (1 year or 2 year max) transfer.

I am on dependent visa and also have a year old child. I can't work here but can do study. So to maximum utilize my time i am thinking of some courses like transfer pricing or IFRS or any internationally recognized courses.

Can you please suggest me some courses and corresponding colleges which do have value in India and help me in my career further.

What is the difference between exemption and deduction of the Income-tax Act,1961. Both the provisions behave almost same manner. What is practical difference between them. what is the necessity to make two different types of provisions in the income-tax Act? how to understand this particular section would be called as deduction or exemption?

Excess deduction of tds

hi friends,

Actually providing consultancy services,
i issued 3 invoices to the party aggregate of which was Rs 100000. the TDS was deducted by the party on 100000. However one of the bill was cancelled and payment in respect of other two bills(Aggregate around Rs.70000) have been received.but TDS has been deduted on 100000.
i just wanted to know that as i hve not earned RS.30000 even then i hve paid tds on that....whether it can be refunded by the party. party has issued debit note to me for the amount of cancelled bill.
