Salary of Partner

A company is a partner in a firm. Director of a company is being paid salary from the firm.
Query:
Whether provision as regards salary u/s 40(b) is applicable to salary paid as mentioned above.

FBT

A partnership firm incurs Telephone expenses it includes service Tax and also subject to FBT. So, FBT is calculated on Service Tax portion also. Whether it is Tax on Tax??????

CENVAT Credit on Capital Goods

Material purchased to erect building.
The material bills are inclusive of excise.
The material cost( basic) is capitalised to building.
Query:
CENVAT paid on input material , whether to claim credit @ 50% AS CAPITAL INPUT or to claim 100% as normal input.
Pl guide.

I have a doubt regarding sec.143(2).Regarding serving of notice,does is it state that no notice shall be served after expiry of 6 mths from end of month in which return is filed or 6 mths from end of financial year in which return is filed????Pls answer my query ???

as per agreement tanent have to bear 50% of municiple tax & tenant has paid 100% of municiple tax but not raised any debit note to owner. Now if he raise a debit note for the municiple tax for 4 years at a time (Including last 3 years) & if owner pays the same to tanent,

CAN OWNER CLAIM DEDUCTION OF MUNICIPLE TAX FROM HOUSE PROPERTY AS HE WILL PAY MUNICIPLE TAX TO TENANT & NOT TO MUNICIPLE AUTHORITY ??????

Properietorship to Pvt ltd

I have my own properietorship firm with turnover of 3 crore. I wish to change it from properietorship to pvt. ltd. to get extra reputation in the market.

Would you suggest me, is it write step??, what shall be advantages & disadvantages of this step?
