One of our client sold land in FY 10-11 and booked capital gain for the same, but in FY 11-12 some dispute arise between both the parties regarding land sold and our client had to compensate the buyer in FY 11-12.
So please guide me what will be the tax treatment for the compensation paid?

I want to know the followings .......
1. Is Income Tax Auditor is responsible for filing e-return for his client?
2. If return(although audit done timely)was not timely filed, who will be responsible,consequences of this, interest and penalties?
3. Is there a system of special no. to quote in audit report or Is there any change in the system of tax audit in compared to last year?
4. Any other important thing, you want to share with me in this concern.

can i recd gift of Rs 255000/- from my father in cash, without gift deed?
is there is any disallowances in incometax act?
Bcas Sec 40A(3)doesn't mentioned about it & in Sec 56(2) mentioned that gift from relative is exempt from tax.
pls suggest me solution bcas my ITO is disallowing it.

if an individual earns an income of Rs. 25 lacs from sale of his/her kidney. what would be the tax implication? Will such income fall under the tax net.?

My knowledge says it is a personal moveable property and therefore not taxable. It will go untaxed .However, income from other sources is an area open to tax such a transaction. Would like to have expert view on this.

I passed my CS Executive in June 2011 and but hadn’t received any physical marksheet except the soft copy as ICSI provides Marksheet only on CS Professional level. I recently cleared the Professional Exam and received the marksheet recently but that doesn’t mention any record about my Executive marks. I want to know what will be the records of Executive marks only the print out of that softcopy??
