Vat in ipcc group 1

Sir,
please solve this problem
R a trader in delhi selling raw material to manufacturers of finished goods.
In VAT
cost of raw material imported from Germany =1200000
cost raw material from other states = 2040000
cost of goods purchased from Delhi (including VAT 12.5%) =2250000
OTHER EXPENDITURE which includes storage, transport, interest, loading, and unloading = 200000
net profit earned by him 20% on sales price
60% of goods sold to s in delhi
30% of goods sold to t of bombay
10% of goods sold to u of usa
compute vat , cst payable & invoice charged by him to various manufacturers
assume vat =12.5%
cst= 2%
why didnt u included CST in cost of raw material imported from other states????
please explain with a reason

Sec 87a and sec 260aa-revsd

Sirs,

I have some doubt regarding Sec 260AA and Sec 87A.

Please check the following two Income tax calculations and kindly let me know if there is any mistake.

Cess @3% 2,376.00
Total income tax - A 81,576.00
20% of Taxable Income - B 1,49,200.00

Applicable income tax A or B which ever
is higher (U/S 260AA) 1,49,200.00

2-Income Tax-Rebate U/S 87 A

Total Income 3,16,000.00
Deductions U/S 80C 1,00,000.00
Taxable Income 2,16,000.00
Tax 1,600.00
Cess 48.00
Total income Tax 1,648.00
Less Rebate U/S 87A 2,000.00

Balance Nil

Please check these, If these two illustrations are correct all my doubts will clear. Please advice.

An assessee has sold the business with assets under slump sale. However, the vendee firm had opted to continue with the vendor firm name & style for maintaining goodwill. Few of the vendor's old partners continued in the firm while others retired after slump sale. The firm continued with certain group of partners from Vendee firm till 31/03 and the vendor's remaining partners also retired.
Till sale - below 1Cr and second period > 1Cr.
Kindly advise whether a single return to be filed and related issues.
Thanks in advance - Due for Tax Audit
