Can anybody tell me how the stock is calculated in tally by its default method?
can we change the method to FIFO or LIFO as per requirement?
I hv tryed for the same but i can change the method from stock inventory but still in profit and loss account value of closing stock is shown by its default method only so i want to change the value of closing stock in profit and loss account to FIFO method, because i am doing accounting of shares so as per demate account FIFO method is followed.

I have my PCC exam in May'10 and I have applied for ITT training in Dec'08 but I have been alloted April'10 batch.As per the rules I have to complete my training before 3months to the date of examination. I have also submitted an application to allot me july'09 batch or before, but no action has been taken till date. The contact no. which is given on ICAI site is also not reachable. Plz assist me what should I do because I dont want to delay my attempt.

Everytime I try to put comments in any of the cells in Excel a name appears. I do not want the name to appear by default. How to do this?

In the company I work for all employees email id can be accessed by clicking on" To: " button and searching the name in drop down box. If once a mail is sent to a person, then next time as soon as i enter first few letters of his/her name the entire email id pops up for selection.



My problem:

I have been sending email to external parties who are not employees of the company. Their email also pops up like other employees id once initially if the email id is typed fully and mail sent. to them. Now sometimes these external people email id.s undergo slight change in which case I am getting 2 email ids of the same person which are slightly different. To avoid confusion I want to delete the one which is no more used by this external party. How to delete email id so that it does not pop up anymore while typing email id?

I am using Windows XP. Whenever I try to open the website having Active X controls the image does not appear automatically. Instead a small bar appears at the top(below the menus) which says Active X is disables. I am able to right click on that bar and select the option run Active X controls. But I do not want to do this every time .I want to enable running of Active X automatically without my intervention. How Can I do this.?

In Excel 2007 I would like to see page breaks in excel sheets and change them by dragging.



How to do this? In earlier versions of Excel I could find that option while print prieviewing.

I BY MISTAKE OVERWRITE ONE EXCEL FILE WHICH WAS CONTAIN IMPORTANT IMFORMATION. I CREATE ONE NEW EXCEL FILE AS SAVE THAT AND REPLACE ORIGINAL FILE AS SAME NAME GIVEN TO IT.
