An existing ipcc student who has completed b.com,itt and orientation has converted in to direct entry scheme and he got converted under direct entry route on 5/8/2013 and registered as article student on 25/7/2013.my query is whether he can write may 2014 ipcc examination

Hi, I am preparing for the may 14 exam 2nd group.
I have not enrolled for any classes due to time constraints.
I am confused between Bangur and snow white publication. Have not started with IDT.
Which would be a good book to study from and understand and complete in time?
Have heard Bangur has some mistakes in it..but many students use it.

Dear Sir,

employee joined in my company in the month of Oct 2013 for salary Rs.22,500/-.

There is no tax liability for him from oct to Mar 2014 of Rs.22500*6 = Rs.1,35,000/-

Is there any liability for deducting TDS from his salary for the present 3rd quarter.Because his income not exceeded the basic exemption.

Please reply me as earlier as possible.

I have a master degree in Commerce & 7+ years experience in Accounts & Taxation. Now I am working as an Assistant Manager-Accounts in Mumbai. I have a good hand over Income Tax, TDS & Accounts. Also working in Profession Tax, Provident Fund, VAT & Service Tax.

I want to do any professional course through which I can gain more knowledge in my interested fields & salary also. I am interested for CA course also but I haven't sufficient knowledge of the procedure from start to end.

Kindly guide me for the same as soon as possible.
