Hi

I have registered for CA Articleship in an audit firm for a period of 3 years i.e from the year 1997 to 2000.

I have successfully completed my articleship but unfortunately i was not able to appear for any exam till today i.e till 2006.

Again I have enrolled for a new registration in the year 2005 for pursuing CA inter under the new syllabus

I would like to know whether my articleship is valid for the new registration and what would happen to my old registration.

If the articleship is not valid, how can I again enroll for articleship under the new syllabus as I am a full employee in an MNC and would not have the time to enroll for full time artichelship in any CA firm

Pls advise me

I am registered under the New course and my 1st attmpt comes in May 2009, but i just came to know that the May 2009 attempt is for students in Old Course only.

Kindly Assisst me whether i should take a transfer to old course if the above matter is true.

I have done M. Com part I as an external student from Gujarat University without taking permission from the ICAI as in the form 112 for taking permission for other course signature of principal of college is necessary and it is not possible for the external student.So, please state that is it necessary to take permission for doing external course? and if necessary what are the consequenses as I had not taken permission to do the external course M. i m a M.COM graduate,housewife, married for almost a year nw..i have cleared the CPT Aug 26th exam with 72%.Being a meritorious student all my student life, i greatly aspire to complete my CA. now..the nxt step being Articles.. i got some prob..Due to family pressure, i m on my way to be a mother.. so i just wanted to knw do i get a leave during articleship during the last few months..? or in other words can i take break in between my articles or do i have to complete my articles at a single stretch?would it be advisable for me to start my articles now or do it in some future date after evrythngz over? Does my CPT score have a validity to let me start my articles anytime in future? could any1 expert out there guide me plz...
