how can i make notes for the preparation of cs executive programme.

I am a final student and my articleship period is remaining just 3 months...but my principal is forcing me to take termination...since i took 5 more days leave additional to the sanctioned study leave for last Nov 2010 exam....

He is not allowing me continue in the office....nw i heared that institute will not allow to take termination during the last one year without the listed reasons...

Wht can I do..pls help me...

If a group(i.e. TATA Birla group) of companies(i.e. TATA Motors, TATA Steel etc.) want to register itself as a group then what the procedure of its registration?

There is any need to register all companies as per Companies Act 1956 before its a member of Such group?

Is any Company Group register itself as unique registration for all companies (w/o Regd. under Companies Act)

If is it Possible the refer me any case and section of Companies Act.

There is a partnership which is dissolved 3 years back. But still they have not cancelled the service tax Registration Number.
what is the procedure to cancel the registration number?
ALso the firm is yet to file the service tax returns (Nil return) before dissolution.
Is there any penalty provision which the firm has to pay?

We have received some "Information technology software services" from a private company based in india for Rs. 249934/- against various bills during F.Y 10-11. Bills are raised for " Oracele database, Antivirus cd, Windoe server cd, Ms-office cd etc prodcuts or services selling".......does Info. technology services includes these services or products also?

Calculations are as follows according to me:

Service Provider----Company & service recepient----Firm

TDS rate u/s 194J---for professional & technical services----- @ 10% (suecharge & education cess are not applicable)

TDS amount would be Rs. 24,993/-

M i right in above situation or not...........please let me know
