I am registered for executive programme in July 10 and had not completed my Student Induction Programme [SIP] which was to be completed within 6 months of registration. I am going to appear in June 10 for First group. Is SIP is compulsory for me. If it is compulsory for me then tell me when I will get chance for SIP as I have already passed six months from registration. Plz reply me

If a person who has worked for 9 months in a CA firm from Nov 2009 till Nov 2010 (Diwali to Diwali) is eligible for bonus or not?? He has worked in the firm for 3 years & he was eligible for bonus in earlier years.Whether bonus should be given pro rata for 9 months that he has worked?

On 05/11/2010, auditor came to know that amount of contingent libilities are not shown by same amount in notes to acounts and auditors report.

what action is required by auditor to avoid penal procedures under
- company act
- chartered accountants act.

Hi,

I am not aware about the correct place to post my query and hence am doing it here. I have just written CA Final under the old scheme and am not so hopeful of the results as my preparation and presentation in exams was not good enough. I would like someone to guide me with the procedure to register for the new syllabus for May 2011 exams. I mean is it sufficient to just mention the new syllabus in the exam form or have to do the registration formalities? If so,what would be the last date so as to be eligible for writing the May exams? Would it be ok to wait for the results. Please help me with the procedure.
