1. Suppose, A final student becomes eligible to take up his exam in November 2011 (i.e. the required period of articled training is over), but he opts to write the exams only in May 2012, he neither applies for Nov 2011 exam nor pays Exam Fees.

His May 2012 attempt will be considered as his FIRST ATTEMPT or the SECOND ?

2. An IPCC candidate who had completed 9 months period after his registration in May 2010, opted to write FIRST group alone in May 2010 and applied and paid exam fees for FIRST group alone and cleared GROUP ONE. Subsequently, cleared the SECOND GROUP in NOVEMBER 2010.

Will he be considered to have cleared the exam in FIRST ATTEMPT or the SECOND ?

I have done BMS Graduation in august 2009
due to financial problem i cant go for mba or mms.
I make appearing cpt in june2011 .
If i clear than ipcc group1 in may 2012
i have to wait full one year

i have planned to appear icwai inter both group in december 2011.
So will this help me in ipcc group1 which i ll give in may2012

is both sylabus are 60 to 70% same

Am a MBA graduate with 15 years of work experience and presently working too. Want to know if I can do CA now. May not be in a position to work with an auditor now as I need to continue my present job. Is it still possible to do CA now.Can anyone explain pls? Thanks in advance!

dear sir. im ipcc stdnt(nov) i hve read lots of articles on ths site regarding study plans nd tips but yet i didnt come to conclusion as how to plan my studies. i hve scanners of all 4 subjects and i dont knw to use effectvly. i hve alrdy strtd to study but its going on very slow. im an avg stdnt. pretty lenghty querry but i hope u will answer....

I want to know,when ABC Private Co.Ltd is availing cash credit facility from nationalized bank on the basis of rental lease income, in such case if the said company gives advances / loan to its group company XYZ Co.Pvt.Ltd.(where the share holders and directors are common in both the companies)from its cash credit account.

XYZ Co.Pvt.Ltd is a construction company which do not have availabe funds of its own to make outstanding payments to its creditors. So for this purpose if ABC Co.Pvt.Ltd provides advance/loan by making payment through chequues from its cash credit banking to XYZ Co.Pvt.ltd.,'s bank account ,in this case can statutory auditor of XYZ Private Co,Ltd and ABC co.Pvt.Ltd have right to object on such tranactions during there respective audits ?


In case of ABC Private Co.Ltd, the auditor of this company can make a point in (xvi) of clause 4 in Companies (Auditor's Report)Order ,2003.Is there any addtional provision under Companies Act,1956 to object on such transaction ?

But, in case of XYZ Co.Pvt.Ltd.,can the auditor of this company object on such transaction and if yes, on the basis of which section of Companies Act, 1956 or rules there on, if any?

The provisions under section 295(2),300(2) and 372A of Companies Act 1956 are not applicable to private company unless it is subsidiary of Public Co.

Note : The said auditors are appointed under the provisions of section 224 of Companies Act,1956.
