i want to know which area to concentrate more in direct taxes for may 2011 exams.
some topics many say that are not that important from exam point of view.
please help me out.

11 April 2011 HI hariharan, there is nothing called imp or un imp in CA exams. But stiil most imp would be the amendments and the recent case laws. Non imp you can say the topics which are not amended last few yrs. But never take risk and read atleast once wt u feel unimp and make a summary so that u need not revise the whole thing once more
