question:a plane costs 1500 lacs to manufacture and exhibits an 85%learning curve .calculate the cost of each of the first five planes.
cost of first 5 planes:
answer : 1. 1500 lacs*1.000 = 1500lacs
2 1500lacs*0.8500 = 1275lacs
3 1500lacs*0.7730 = 1159.5lacs
4 1500lacs*0.7230 = 1084.5lacs
5 1500lacs*0.6860 = 1029lacs
my doubt is how did the numbers 1.000,.8500,.7730,.7230,.6860 come........how to get those numbers????if anyon eknows the answer..please explain in detail....

I am doing ipcc. iam not financialy stable.while 3 years of articleship i will not be able to meet my needs with the stiphend. so i need to do a job . i have heard that 35 hours per week work is compulsary for articleship. is it possible to do articleship 5 hours per day in all 7 days & get remaining hours for a part time job.please give me some suggetions.

I know there is an exemption from doing CWA Foundation & 4 other papers to CS Passed candidates......!

1. Can any one tell me that is it neccessary to complete the CS Training ( 15 months ) before getting such exemption or we have to complete it ????



2. Also, can we apply for such exemption after giving CS Final exams i.e. before the declaration of final result ?????



3. And finally, pls tell me about CWA training....i.e. Duration and when to start ( before inter or final ).

i want to know that what package can i expect after completing CA...i have completed graduation from du(sol), Pcc with 58% ,have scored 93% in ITT,86% in CBSE 12th..i am preparing for nov 2011 exams on provisional basis..but the problem is that i do not have work experience of 6-7months...i am very much tenst..i have not taken dummy intentionally

Sir, i have done B.com. can i register for IPCE or i have to register for CPT ?

while answering a question in indirect tax paper if it is asked answer on a basis of a decided case is it necessary to mention the name of the case. It increases the chances of error and it is difficult to remember the names of so many cases
