can any1 get rank in 2nd or more attempt if some1 failed in 1st attempt in cpt exam?only first attempt studnts can get rank?

2nd or subsequent attempt students can also get rank.There is no restriction as such.

All exams are independent examinations and the rank is decided of the examination and not of the student.
Hence, one can fail in first attempt but can get rank in the next attempt.
