How does the foolowing instances amount to "invitaion to offer" and not an "(generAl) offer"?
A)A price list of goods for sale
B) Quoataion for lowest prices
c) Railway Time-table
d) Display of goods with price tag attached
e) Prospectus issued by a Company
in the refercnce book of MP Vijaykumar; these has been told as "invitation to make offer". My view is exactly the opposite.
For instance, in CASE A): the shopkeeper by keeping his Pricelist to the prospective customers is making an offer: in the list there is a Pen for Rs 10. Those who are in need of the pen and think the price is fair enough; wiill go to the shopkeeper and ACCEPT the (general) offer by paying him the Rs 10. And if he bargains; that is a counter offer.
Had he just dispalyed his goods at the window without any price tag; and sb comes and tells him " Sir, i wanna buy that BOOK for Rs 100" that should be an invitation to offer, isn't it??
hi
i am a student of ca final course
iam looking for notes (online/books) for d same
Most probably not. There is a slightchance that you are allowed to leave the firm:
a)if u r a dummy article
b) ur CA is very ethically minded abt following ICAI rules sincerely
c) u r working under ur dad/mom/relative's firm.
Students in the above category are not even 10pc of the total article students. the ICAI has made it a rule that ARTICLESHIP HRS SHOULD BEGIN B4 11AM AND NOT EXCEED 5PM.
But which CA cares about the ICAI rules/ Rules are meant to be broken: Members from ICAI chapters or city offices do so to their articles: the remaining CAs are bound to be even inconsiderate. I can bet not even 5pc of the practising CAs have begun adhering to this rule of articleship hours.
ICAI is impotent in enforcing this coz its top members are not interested in it. There are few practioners and lots of eagerly expecting articles. After passing CPT; it is really tough to secure an articleship.
So, the students can't even ask their CA ABT THE RECENT CHANGES IN icai WORKING HOURS. If they try to; then they are in deep trouble. CAs are influential people. The poor student may not lose many days in getting his transfer in article: and thrugh his previous MIT's ifluence; he may lose even more time in getting another worthy MIT.
Now, u may say "why don't students' complain"? I will say " the whole thing is that bhaiyya, sabse bada rupaiya"? Students don't want to jeopardise their chance of being financially sound after being CA(they have to have to face 3.5 yrs of rigorous aticlesip) and CAs are better left unchalleneged. My CA has not cared a da** abt this new rule. Plz tell me what is happening in ur case.
*GOOD EVENING SIR*
respected sir!
at present i am facing the double challenges. these are 1. articleship botheration, 2. c.a.final exams preparation.
sir i want a suitable suggession from your's point of view that if manage six hour's a day and read two or three subjects daily then is it possible for me to clear c.a final exams ? my first attempt will be going to be held in may 2010.
Please tell which is the right format for purpose of recording practical training:
Facts:
1)In April 2008. The Articled Assistant was assigned the work of Audit
2)The Articled Assistant has taken leave of 12 days
3)The leave granted is within the permissible limits of leave allowed during articleship
FORMAT "A"
Audit Training: 30 Days
Total No Of Days in Apr: 30 Days
Leave Taken: 12 Days
FORMAT "B"
Audit Training: 18 Days
Leave Taken: 12 Days
Total No Of Days in Apr: 30 Days
Issue:
1) If Format "B" is followed, then the total period of articleship in Report of Practical Training will not reconcile:
For Example: In a 3 year (ie. 36 months) of articleship period, if someone takes leave of 3 months, then only 33 months would get reflected as period of training
Please suggest which is the right way of presentation for purpose of articleship records
