i have given my C.A.(pe2) exam and completed my graduation this year.

as i have given already 2 attempts of pe2 and given my 3rd attempt in May 2008 and waiting for the result.

Is number of attempts matter in future??

I have sent the 'certificate of service' on 15th of may 08 ,
but the post was returned to me back due to some postal problem on 2nd of june 08,
the last date of sending the " certificate of service " is 30th of may 08.
can i resend it now.
will there be any problem for the declaration of my result .

sir i am a pe2 student.. may 2008 was my last attempt. i have already cleared one group previusly. does i have the eligibility to remain in this PE2 scheme if i don clear another group in may 2008

Hi , This is a question from Pg#66 Revision prob 7 of the PV Ram & SD Bala 2nd Edition Book . I am not satisfied with the solution given for the problem in the said book . The question is as follows :
A bottle manufacturer operates two machines each with capacity of producing 1000 bottles per annum . The Machines have an infinite life & no salvage value . The operating Expenses are Rs2 per Bottle . During the summer machines work to Full Capacity but during winter bacause of slack in demand they work only 50% capacity . The Co is thinking with the idea of replacing these machines with the two identical machines .Each machine would cost Rs 6000 and last indefinitly .The operating costs are Rs 1per bottle .What should company do ? Cost of Capital 10% .
Note : As per my analysis the the co should replace both the machines but the books answer is contrary . Please suggest me the correc answer .Also if any alternate solution exists pls guide .

plz, provide some expert guidelines about , how should i divide the timings between my college studings & ca pcc studings. my attempt is may 2009 for pcc. and i dont find any proper guidelines and proper time manage. to study and divide my schedules. my articleship timing is very harsh.
so plese provide some way to divide the timing as in morning my coll. is there. after that articleship & then clases for pcc. At night i come at 10 p.m . so plese suggest some measures to divide my vast ocean syallbus and fullfill my dream of becoming a competent ca.
