I'm in a confusion whether there are any restrictions imposed by the ICAI on articled assistants undergoing CFA course. Pls help me on this issue.
I have completed PE1 in Jan 2005 and registered for PE2 in June 2005 and got the eligibility certificate for May 2006 PE2 exam. May 2008 was my fifth attempt, if i donot clear in may 2008 exam can i appear for nov 2008 PE2 exam. If i cannot what should i do. Please note iam doing itt training right now.

I'm a PE-II student, who last appeared in November, 2006 and due to non-availability of leave could not appear thereafter.
I have directly enrolled in PE-II on the basis of my graduation, other than this i have done my CS and LLB also.
Now with the change in syallbus, do i have to appear for CPT or i will be enrolled in PCC. And by the way what is this PCE.
Please clarify the situation.

I am currently working in a CA firm which is very good but I want better prespectives. I am aware of firms like KPMG, E&Y etc.. But please someone provide me with a list of firms to apply for (Sorted on RANK) in bangalore.
And way to apply to these firms and how to go about.....

I have my CA Final Exam due in November 08.I am going on Leave from 5th July 08 and i effectively have 3.5 Months in hand.

In income tax act htere is a provision that co's return is to be filed with signatures of managing or any other director.but it is generally seen that CFO been signing all the returns .I just want to know that whether there is any other circular authorising CFO to sign on behalf of directors .
Actually my employer has not paid any tds till the due date .now I want to file my incomre tax return .suggest me the way that i can prove the deduction of tds .or if file my return without tds details at what amount should i pay tax
