1) Is a Principle is entitled to deduct the stipend during the month for which Leaves are taken for B.com Exams under their 155 days allowed as leave by institute?

2) if stipend is recieve after deducting the leave taken and get below the minimum limit prescribed then is there any problem after the compltion of articleship? is the principle is entitled to do so?

I am a 32 yr old banking professional and have joined CA course through CPT. I am a B.Sc + MBA with 9 yrs. of work-ex in sales.

I joined CA for my interest in Finance that has grown over the years. The reason for me joining the course now is because I had challenging personal commitments to honour until recent past.

I have been a hard-working and above-average student throughout my academic career scoring between 73% & 81% from 10th till MBA. Professionally, I am doing fairly well. During the course of study / after passing out, I want to get into full-fledge d'finance' field.

In a nutshell, am quite interested in the subject of Finance and I have a deep-seated desire to rise up to the rank of a CFO, COO or MD and run an organization. And I do appreciate that to reach the stage, I must have a very very thorough 'application' knowledge of the financial nitty-gritties that are embedded in a company's balance sheet.

Now the reason for my post! The only bottleneck that I find is the 3-year articleship. If I move into the Finance domain / department of my current organization before I pass IPCC - Level II, will that count as an articleship? I hope the experts of this forum will appreciate that it's practically difficult to leave a regular-paying job and survive on stipends.

What I expect you to advise me is if this clause can be negotiated with ICAI at the appropriate time of registering for articleship.

One of my friends has applied online for Integrated Professional Competence Exam. While online application process at the time of payment due to some network issue the PDF was not generated and it was showing transaction was not successful. So she again made payment and that time transaction was successful and PDF also generated successfully.
The issue is that bank charged her for the both transactions out of which one was successful and another was unsuccessful.

She also sent mail to ipce_examhelpline@icai.in for refund of amount on 9th April 2012 and again on 24th March 2012. But yet she didn't get reply from them. Please suggest what to do now?

I have cleared my IPCE Exam in May 2011 and i stood 33rd in the merit list. Later i gave my icwa inter exam in December 2011 and also cleared it. I took a break of 6 months and did not enroll for articleship. I am also doing BCom. I had heard that there is a special concession for rankers regarding doing 2 courses along with articleship. Is it true? So, shall i join articles now or shall i wait for my TY to be over?

I have cleared my both groups of IPCC in november 2011 attempt.
so, in how much I have to get registered with final course of ICAI.

I have passed PCC both groups by doing self study, and now my final attempt is in november,12. I like to study final also by self study only but my friends are telling that PCC is different thing, FINAL is much more difficult, it is almost impossible to study it by self mode.
Is there any truth in it? I don't think so but I would like to take expert advice.
Also reply me if there is enough time to study both groups of final to give exams in nov,2012 or I should go for 1 group only?

Am requesting to reply as soon as possible, am waiting last one year from the announcement, they issuing Notification also in that mentioning after 45days taking into consideration, till i heard not yet approve, please reply when it taking into consideration of CPT exemption for Graguate and approving date plz plz plz...............................
