I want to ask that is there any option for a student who is weak in academics but good in doing work of accounting and taxation.As I am 12th passed and also worked in a company as an accountant but I want to do more thats why I opted for CA,I grab practically more as from reading from books.Is there any career option for me as I am going worst in academics from last 8 years.

Hi am doing my IPCC and going to attempt my exam on May 2013. I hope this is the appropriate time to start my preparation. I cannot relay on institute materials as it has more number of flaws. So plz guide me in choosing the books. Which author can i choose for for group 1 and group 2 subjects.

I hear that if both groups are not clear then
good Audit com. will not give chance.
Is it true?

How many marks should be in both groups and what preparation should be done for same above.

Sir , the select services are not part of our syllabus and as a result the chapter in module "gamut and coverage of taxable services " is also no more relevant for nov'12 exams , my query is whether the case laws which are relevant for exams would also change as a result.I mean the case laws mentioned in institute publication in chapter on "gamut and coverage of taxable service be relevant for nov'12 exams ? Please reply soon.
