07 October 2012 Pls explain me what is h form...and why is it issued?

07 October 2012 H form is issued by exporter to penultimate exporter i.e from whom the exporter has obtained the goods to be exported. the person exporting the goods will always have the proof of export like bill of lading /custom clearance certificate with him to claim exemption in respect of goods exported but the penultimate exported may not possess all these documents. hence the exporter issues H form to the penultimate seller declaring therein that the goods procured from him have been exported.

penultimate exporter is a person who sells goods to the ultimate exporter and is a deemed to exporter.
