I have registered two different companies operating in same address. Is it right as per companies act, 1956 that two companies can be registered in same address?? what are the consequences?? Please help me out???

Dear Professional Collegues,

One of my clinet had tried to apply for DIN Number himself on MCA Site.

After filling all the details he had selected to make payment using NEFT Mode.

The problem is he had not saved the COPY of challan for NEFT Payment and dont even remember SRN Number.

When we are trying to upload the DIN Form Again, it is showing this PAN Number already exist in our DATA.

My Question is:
1. Can we re generate the Challan or GET SRN Again
2. Can we resubmit the form?

pls let me know is there is any way out to know whether a director has DIN No or not apart from checking it from MCA Authorised Signatories list.


I am facing this problem as i have no records available with me regarding the same.


So,is there is any way out to know this ? suppose if we attempt to submit DIN 1 for a director who already have allotted DIN by MCA then whether system will show any message like DIN is already registered ?

AT THE TIME WHEN I FILLING FORM AND DONG A DIGITAL SIGNATURE THEN ONE QUERY MESSAGE SHOW ON THE TOP " AT LEAST ONE SIGNATURE REQUIRE VALIDATING" I HAVE REGISTERED WITH MCA AS BUSSINESS USER AND MY DIGITAL SIGNATUREE IS ALSO REGISTERED WITH MCA BUT THE DIRECTOR SIGNATURE WHICH REGISTERED IN MCA IS EXPIRED AND WHICH IS NOT UPDATED AND I AM NOT HAVIN INFORMATION ABOUT DIRECTOR'S MOTHER MEIDAN NAME WHICH IS COMPULSORY TO RENEW THE DIGITAL CERTIFICATE
AND I AM ASLO FACING PROBLEM THAT WHEN I TRY TO UPLOAN THE FORM IN WHICH MESSAGE SHOWN ABOVE ABOUT DIGITAL SIGNATURE THE WEBSITE SHOW ERROR THERE IS NO DIGITAL SIGNATURE.

AOA empower a company to reduce or increase no. of directors through ordinary resolution in a GM.....My ques is ....IS THIS SECTION APPLICABLE TO A PVT. CO. AS WELL???

Can some one explain the procedure for conversion of a sole propritorship into a private limited company with reference to the corporate law and the mca formalities? what are the safeguards to be taken from the point of view of the propritor?

Please clarify the following:

1) What type of resolution is required to be passed at the EGM to appoint auditor in place of the resigning auditor.

2) What is the notice period for holding of such EGM.

3) Sample of notice for holding EGM and resignation of auditor.

4) If auditor resign on 7-7-09 and AGM is to be held on 30-9-09, then for what time period the new auditor should hold office- Till the conclusion of AGM on 30-9-09 or till the conclusion of next AGM.
