A PSU (Public Sector Unit)’s employees make a Recreation club. A PSU bare all expenses to operate the said Club. The said Club has own by laws. The activates of the said Club are members welfare, organized social occasion, get to gather etc. Now my question is….
1. Is it mandatory to register the said Club?
2. If yes, when and which govt.dept register the said club?
3. Any liabilities under Income Tax?

One of my friend who is an NRI employed in Dubai wants to setup an office at India for carrying out some software work exclusively for export. For export of service whether we need an IEC No. If so whether any approval of RBI for investment is required. The investment is made out of his NRE a/c. Whether the software consultancy will be treated as a service or sale of goods. Please provide me the maximum input.

A company was promoted with an intiail capital subscription of Rs.5,00,000/- and the entire amount was contributed by NRIs. FCGPR was also filed in time. Now the RBI is requesting for a Chartered Accountant's Certificate for valuation of shares in Discounted Cash Flow Method. Since it is the initial subscription, there is no scope for valuation under any method. Kindly suggest the remedy.
