03 January 2012 pls advice on this:
a). Is it a mandatory requirement for a society(NGO) registered in delhi to have members with residence of delhi only?
b). Can a society regd. in delhi have a head office in any other state, or it needs fresh registration in other state to operate?

reply:

a)there are two types of NGO one is national level and second is state level .

for national 7 member id card is mentioned of seven different states.

and

for delhi state level treasurer and secratary mandatory resident of state(delhi) either which you belongs.

b)Nitesh ji, if you wanted to registered a NGO in delhi as a National level is mandatory registration office in delhi and if you wanted to Registration of NGO as a state Level then delhi will be Head office and IN case of National Level NGO can mentioned other state as a branch office.
