when market price of shares is very high or just double to its face value then weather we should invest or not & why?

What are goods and bads regarding ESOP.

One of my senior family member is offered to buy shares of company in which he is working, under ESOP scheme. He is working in Camlin Ltd. (company mfg Pens, pencils etc.) and will be retiring after 1.5 yrs.

Max stock offerable is 4650sh @ Rs.16 per share having face value of Re.1. He is planning to buy shares worth Rs.15000.

Since i have not dealt with ESOP earlier i would be happy if experts give me some idea regarding ESOP.

fOR THE f.y. 2007-08 , I am doing lot of transcation & Now i have 2000 contract note . So its not possible in Excel file for finding STCG & LTCG . Is it any software in market where all the contract note entered & find out STCG & LTCG & also reconcile broker ledger .

2) I am doing transaction in F & O . So what is accounting treatment & whether all the sale & purchase eneterd through contract note.

3) In Contract Note Broker Charged Brokerage , S.Tax , STT & Education Cess - Should i show all this charges seprately or it will less in STCG / LTCG

Whether an income by way of transactions in F&O segment can be treated as business income or be treated as income from speculative business? If it can be treated as business income, then can the loss in the said segment be adjusted against any other business income during the same financial year?
