Dear Sir,
How to determine TURNOVER in case of intra day transaction (speculation)in shares.
what is the turnover in the following illustration :
1-8-08 Loss 5000
2-8-08 Profit 1000
4-5-08 Loss 2000
5-5-08 Profit 3000
whether Turnover is :-
i) (+) 4000 (i.e. only profit)
ii) (-) 3000 ( i.e. profit less loss )
iii)11,000 (i.e. total of all profits and
losses)

ESOP- Urgent

Hi,

What are goods and bads regarding ESOP.

One of my senior family member is offered to buy shares of company in which he is working, under ESOP scheme. He is working in Camlin Ltd. (company mfg Pens, pencils etc.) and will be retiring after 1.5 yrs.

Max stock offerable is 4650sh @ Rs.16 per share having face value of Re.1. He is planning to buy shares worth Rs.15000.

Since i have not dealt with ESOP earlier i would be happy if experts give me some idea regarding ESOP.

Hi,
The following are my queries.

1. How to compute the income/loss from options and futures.
2. I have considered the income/loss from options and futures as income/loss from speculative business.

Please provide me with the complete details with respect to the above aspects.
