I read the below statement in a chain of queries; If the below is right, Where do I account this INR250 in the ITR 2/3?

Statement from CAclubindia queries;
"STT is a form of tax then can we deduct it from short term capital gain tax arrived @ 15%?? For example if STCG tax comes to Rs. 1000 and STT deducted as shown in contract notes is Rs. 250 then can we deduct this Rs. 250 from Rs. 1000 and say net short term capital tax liability as Rs. 750??"

I had applied 4 lots (68 shares) in Moil Ltd IPO but nothing has been alloted to me. I believe as per rule either minimum shares or proportionate shares should need to be alotted.

Please let me know what are the remedies available to me and how it can be exercised.

Request you to please solve the respective query:-

If the non-executive director of a listed company buy shares of the listed company in which he is a non-executive director, in the name of another private limited company in which also he is a director. Then will notice of buying the respective shares will go to SEBI or any other regulatory authorities as per SEBI Guidelines or not, so that this case is not covered in insider trading.??

Please let me know at the earliest.

one of our Companies is in the process of making a rights issue...... I wanted to inquire as to whether we can take a loan instead of making the capital call. if yes then i have following related doubts....
1. The company has some NRIs and OCBs as its shareholders. Whether this could cause any hindrance in taking loan.

2. If the answer to above is yes, is there any solution to it.....

I have 1 query.A company called piramal healthcare is coming up with buy back offer.Now this company is going to buy at Rs.600 per share.The specified date for this buyback would be 8/01/2011.as on date this companies share price is Rs.450.
Now i want to ask that if i purchase shares of the company today at Rs.450,whether i will b eligible for buy back. If yes then evrryone will purchase share at 450 & opt for buy back & make profit.. Please help me to clear ma confusion..

in a case before me an income tax assesse aged about 58 years has been holding shares since long back, did not bring his share holding into his accounts
