Hi Everyone, I am a chartered accountant.Recently left my job and now searching for a new job. Meanwhile can anyone suggest me any post qualification course in the field of taxation or finance which i can pursue ?

I am Charetered Accountant i wanted to know which of the two alternatives has more growth opportunities wheather working as Assistant Manager in NTPC or Specialist Officer in Bank of India one of the Nationalised Banks? Please answer if possible i am really confused?

Dear Experts,

I'd registered for CA and was doing my articleship for 1 year, later I discontinued because of family issues (I had to find a job and support my family). The stipend was not enough for that. I wrote to CA Headquarters about my situation and asked them whether they can accept my work experience as articleship for the remaining two years?(I'm working in a Big 4 as a Tax Analyst). Unfortunately ICAI replied it can't be considered. My dream of becoming CA ended there. Now I'm confused whether to pursue CMA or CS? Or is there anyway that I can study CA again without articleship? I can't afford going for articleship again as I'm the only one supporting my family. Could you please guide me on the above?

Hi, i am writting this querry to seek an advice that how I can utilize my acquired CMA degree. I started my career in accounts after bcom in reputed listed company and after gaining handful of experience I realized that to accerlate in this field i must have a professional degree. Since that point of time CMA did not have compulsory articleship I thought CWA will be good choice because for job opportunities CWA is always in demand and with all this background and career counciling from my seniors I started my CWA back in 2006 alongside my job. i continued and in 2009 i was able to complete my inter. then it so happend that my career took shape in such a way that i moved to IT consulting for ERP and became away totally from accounting field. I did well in the new field and still doing and another good thing i did not stop doing CWA. i still finished one final group pretty early in 2010 and then continuing on my career path and away from this field i stopped for a while CWA being abroad for sometime and quite a time not clearing the exam. but still I had in my mind that someday i will complete this pending work. Well in 2014 end tired of doing my job which involve heavy travel I decided to take a month leave and do something more productive and thought of clearing CMA. My calculative well planned schedule proved to be fruitfull and I appeared in dec 2014 exams and I manged to clear CMA. It was biggest day of my life that I achieved this qualification after so many years. Now still in the same career line and off-course doing very well i am having a CMA degree which I am struggling to utilize because my career path is different. Have I been in accounting field I would have various ways of utilizing my professional knowledge. But with the current career path i find not much use of this degree except that clearing accounting fundamenatals to the client. Biggest question which i want to put in this forum is what all options availble where I can put use of my professional qualification at this point of time. I understand that professional degrees are always useful but I I am missing some basic here.

Hi friends i want to know whether CA-Articleship is consider as experience b'coz i have gone for 10-12 interview and their they require experience for 2-3 years but they are continuosly telling to me that they are not considering Articleship as a experience and consider me as a fresher i want a secure job i am not planning to continue CA as my IPCC Group-2 is still pending(5th Attempt) and my age is now 24 now i have given 2 competitve exams awaiting for the results.
i have one more option i have gone in bank skill there they will give me some 2 months training for bank and apply for interview i have not yet tell them yes as i am confused pls guide me what to do? and i am also going in depression i want first of all a secure job with little bit better pay
