08 April 2016 I have qualified Ca in Nov 15,with multiple attempts. A startup Co. is offering a job & they said job profile would be finance controller & CTC 5L. I am very much confused about job profile & the Co. Please advice what i should do,whether it is good to start career with it,or should wait for other opportunities

09 April 2016 If you are financially sound then you can wait, as starting salary for CA fresher should at least be around six lakhs to start off in a Tier - 1 city. If you think the company seems to have better prospects in the start up sector and the management has assured you good hike, promotions etc, you can ponder over it. At times it is not mere monetary gains one should look in their career, of course money is one of the prime motivator. Apart from that you got to look at stability factor, experience that you are gaining joining a nascent industry. Ponder over all these points, discuss with your family, friends and seniors, surely they will guide you what is probable way out. Finally keep in mind, the decision which you take, it will be all your own others can only facilitate or guide you in giving their insights. Best of luck for your career.
