hello,
My query is i had registered myself for cpt in June 2009 and appeared for exam in 2010 but dint qualify, but later on concentrated on cs and now i am qualified cs now i am planning to do ca do do i m still able to appear for cpt or i need to ask for extension plz help me.

Friends though i have also taken few extra attempts but i want to suggest that ICAI should allow a student only 2 attempts in CPT,PCC & FINAL like IIT does for its IIT-JEE.By doing so only talented students will be selected and ordinary students wont waste their time on doing ca course for 10 to 12 years after failing to succeed in those 2 attempts. What u people think???

i am a fresher CA. I have done my articleship from a small city and as of nw i do not hv much work exposure. I am scared of facing interviews as most of my seniors told me dat in interview articleship xposure is asked. Plz suggest me in the matter and also tel me what can be done to enhance the practical knowledge???

I have been selected for the post of Asst Manager:- Accounts & Finance, LIC Housing Finance. Meanwhile, before giving consent to join this company I received another Job offer from Capgemini (SOX Act Level O4).
Please advice me which company to join. Also let me know how can I evaluate whether the job profile which capgemini is offering is off shore or not? As one of my friend told me , its not good to join Capegemini since its a BPO and they will provide me off shore work. I cannot evaluate the two job profile on monetary terms, since both are offering me the same compensation.

iam writing in complete vain and agony just not to gain any sympathy or anything else. Right now iam 36 years
old and i have done b.com (38.6%),Gniit(Soft.Eng)-62%, PGDBA(Fin+HR)-Dual specialistionfrom Symbiosis -distance learning mode with A Grade-62%.Ever since i was young i was having a burning desire for CA, but iwas week in studies at that time and while doing b.com iwas suffering from severe depression due to which i could not perform well in my b.com exam.Recently, i have qualified my PGDBA from Sym with good marks which has given me good level of confidence.iam working at a managerial level but package is not that good. i have taken admission in CS recently and i wish to do ca in future which i could not do in my prime youth.my parents are very much supportive in this aspect.iam determined to do ca with cs.total experience 12 yrs. what does the future holds for me.( as teaching is also one option )
