Hello everyone,

I am looking for some genuine guidance regarding my career.

I completed my **12th in 2024**, and along with my 12th, I also completed a **CABA-MDTP (Computer Applications, Business Accounting and Multilingual D.T.P.)** course.

Since completing 12th, I have been confused about which field I should choose for my career. Because of this confusion, almost **two years have passed without me being able to decide on a clear career direction**.

During this time, I tried exploring different fields:

1. **Cyber Security** – I initially thought of building my career in Cyber Security and started studying it, but I could not understand what I should learn, how I should learn it, or what the proper roadmap was. Eventually, I stopped studying it.

2. **Artificial Intelligence (AI)** – After that, I thought about pursuing AI. I started exploring this field as well, but again I could not understand the field properly or find a clear direction, so I eventually stopped that too.

3. **Finance** – Currently, I am considering building my career in Finance. However, I am still confused about whether Finance is actually the right choice for me and, if I choose Finance, **which specific domain of Finance I should pursue**.

So, my main confusion is:

**Which direction should I choose — Cyber Security, AI, or Finance? And if Finance is a better option for me, which area/domain of Finance should I consider?**

I also want to understand how I should actually evaluate a career before committing to it. I don't want to keep switching from one field to another and waste more time.

I would really appreciate guidance from experienced **CAs, finance professionals, industry professionals, or anyone who has faced a similar career situation**.

I would especially like to know:

* Based on my background, how should I evaluate Cyber Security, AI and Finance as career options?
* If I choose Finance, what different domains should I explore before making a final decision?
* How can I practically test whether a particular field is suitable for me?
* Should I first do a short course, internship, project, or basic-level study before committing to a career?
* Most importantly, **what should I do step-by-step over the next 6–12 months to get clarity and build a proper career direction?**

I understand that the final decision has to be mine, but I would really appreciate **honest and practical advice** from experienced people rather than just general suggestions.

My goal now is to choose a direction carefully, stop switching between fields, and then consistently work towards building a career in that field.

I'm ca intermediate student, I filed my form for January 2021, but Im unable to appear in the exam because of covid risk is there till now, but I'll appear in may 2021, if I cleared my both groups in may 21, will Jan 21 attempt counted as an attempt or not, please if anyone know the actual fact then let me know ASAP

Dear Sir/Mam,

This question I want to ask for my sister.

She is a CA and working in MNC from the past 2 years but she is not happy with her work. She is 24 years old.

She is into Treasury department working as an Assistant Manager. Problem she has with her job is that her senior doesn't involve her in the major work that happens in the department. He gives her part of his work that even a junior accountant can do. She remains upset because she is not able to grow because of his attitude. Also he tells her lies that he will take her to the meeting but when the meeting happens he doesn't take her. Her senior is not even a CA but an MBA-FINANCE. But because he is in the company from many years he knows most of the work. The problem is he doesn't want anyone to grow in his department and take his position in future as his importance will decrease.

Other people are also not happy with his attitude but they are not working with him so doesn't bother much. My sister is directly working under him. She has even told the head of treasury about this but no action was taken as the work is going on and since he knows most of the work no one can remove him from department.

I am a Professional so doesn't know how to deal with such a problem. If anyone can help what she can do to resolve this issue since she will not be able to grow properly in her career. She is in the best department of the company.

Sir/madam, I am a student of a CMA and i want to make my career in the bank after completing my cma . So what should i do to become a banker while getting the cma title as well. What are the job roles available for the CMA in the bank ? Please guide me .

Hii friends... I have cleared CA IPCC in first attempt in May 2017... Now I am doing my articleship in a small firm in Madurai as my parents haven't allowed me to go out of my home city for articleship. But my dream is to explore the peak of my profession. I'm sure that I will clear my CA final in May 2020 but I am thinking about how I am going to face the corporate world as my work experience isn't enough to compete. I need your suggestions in this regard as I am ready to do anything to grab opportunities and chase my dreams. Now I am also pursuing CS ?

So I have to go to place of work that is 2 hours far from my house, and coming back is also same time.

This is the audit place, whereas my firms office is less than 10 minutes from my house

So to calculate the 35 hours time per week, 2 hours of to and fro should be included or not?

i have given many attempts in ca ipcc but failed ...now i want to give one more attempt with full dedication in may 2018 but not for CA for ATC degree only...what should i do in that case

My final attempt was in Nov 17. but as I have not cleared Ipcc GRP 2. I couldn't give this attempt. if I clear my Ipcc group 2 in may 18. can I give final exam in Nov 18. I will complete 3 years of articleship on March 2,18.

Is it necssary to complete articlseship to obtain B.Com degree from IGNOU. Plz Reply regarding latest update concern
