Dear experts, I have passed my CA inter and have completed my articleship. I am working in a company as deputy audit manager. I now want to joa finance department of a company. In my articleship,i have handled audit work pre dominantly. I want to know that if I join a company as a finance manager,will it be possible for me to shine there given the fact that I have only audit experience to my credit? Moreover will companies be interested to take people with audit experience for finance? kindly answer the questions above. It will be of great help to me. Thanks in advance.

I will be a CA soon and I want to study further. CMA would enable me to skip the foundation exam and give level 2 directly since I am done with IPCC. It would also offer a wider employer choice as it would make all the MNCs, prospective employers whereas CFA would narrow down the scope, & make it a niche finance field . I want to make an informed decision with respect to payscales as well as opportunities abroad, before I join another course. Personally I am more interested in CFA but I don't want to make a hurried decision. Kindly advice me, which combination between CA + CFA / CA+ CMA would be better in terms of opportunities abroad and in terms of salary in India as well as abroad.

Actually My qualification is 12th. But, I discontinued degree courses (B A and B.Com).
I worked as Accounts Assistant 3 years after 5 years working Accountant and also working a under A Chartered Accountant in 5 to 6 Years.
Can I Doing Consulting Works like VAT, Service Tax, Central Excise and Income Tax - Filings...?

hello sir, I have given ca final attempt for the third time and this time i have just given first group.so i have to appear for the second group in may 2017.But now as i am watching the scenario of my friends who are getting difficulties in jobs even after clearing the exams,i am thinking to do a job which will fetch me practical knowledge and i will not face the same problem as my friends are facing as after being a CA,no employer gave a chance to learn,they only could expect best from us.suggest me the correct way.My dilemna is to just sit and study for second group or should i do job alongwith.

Dear Sir/Mam, I gave my IPCC this November but I am not sure whether I am going to clear it or not. Also I am not quite synchronising with the profession. I had tough time convincing myself to study during those 9 months of IPCC. Also I lack passion in it. So i was wondering whether I should opt for some other career such as CFA and MBA. I really am confused and it would be better for me to take a decision now as I dont want to waste time in trial and errors. Please suggest for the same.

What are the basic requirements that a big 4 looks into a Candidate while hiring an entry level professional.
