14 December 2016 Dear experts, I have passed my CA inter and have completed my articleship. I am working in a company as deputy audit manager. I now want to joa finance department of a company. In my articleship,i have handled audit work pre dominantly. I want to know that if I join a company as a finance manager,will it be possible for me to shine there given the fact that I have only audit experience to my credit? Moreover will companies be interested to take people with audit experience for finance? kindly answer the questions above. It will be of great help to me. Thanks in advance.

22 December 2016 In life if you want to excel first thing is to believe in your self that you can do it. If you underrate your self this is the first step towards not excelling in your life. You have experience in Audit and you will surely shine as Finance Manager you have lot of knowledge about Accounts and Audit. After joining if your feel that you are unable to understand the work or finding difficulty in excelling in you work then upgrage you knowledge by investing some time daily by updating your knowledge in area where you are finding difficulty. Your first prority should be to complete your CA.
