I had filed IEC application online as laid down in the website, after paying requisite fees. After ten days the application was rejected with the message that cancelled cheque should be on plain paper, and submit application again. When I am trying to submit the application again all data is accepted, but the documents in pdf and gif are not accepted for importing, saying invalid application.

Please guide me for the procedure to be adopted, if anybody else has faced the same problem,.

We sold goods to local dealers (intra State sales) from 100% EOU and raised local sales invoice with GST and BCD (on DTA sales).
GST has been remitted thro GST portal. However, need guidance to remit BCD. BCD needs to be remitted to which portal.
Please share the procedure to pay BCD on DTA sales.

S.45 of the Customs Act, 1945 on Restrictions on custody & removal of imported goods says that custodian is responsible only in respect of Customs duty and not value of goods lost in respect of pilfered goods.
My question is that can the custodian be Major or approved be made responsible as to value of goods to importer in the following cases:
1) Under Section 45- When the custodian has no explanation at all to show how the loss occurred in respect of goods
in its custody.
2) Not u/s 45- As bailee of goods to importer.?

Please answer.
