1) What is the custom duty rate on imported Luxury vehicle till 31.03.2012

2) What is the custom duty rate on imported Luxury vehicle after 01.04.2012.

I hv little confused what is difference between DEPB & Duty drawback policy.

My doubt is in case of Import can we cake CENVAT credit of Educational cess and Sec & Higher Edu cess?If yes kindly tell me the Notificatin No

Our company is setting up the plant in Gujarat.Major machines are Imported.We have already Imported certain machinery.Now we want to apply for EPCG license.Can we apply now ?What about machinery which already imported?

What are the Customs compliances that one is required to adhere to for a newly incorporated company wanting to import Leather shows into India, from France.

We want to Import GPD Vehicle Tracking Devices and Car Navigation systems from China & SEA countries.

We want somebody should help us in getting the correct %age of Customs Duty on these equipments.

We have searched in the latest Customs Tariff
Vol 1 & Vol 2, could not find GPS devices and Navigation systems under any classification indicated in the books.

If anybody has imported these equipments please let us have the information about the customs duty.
