18 April 2012 Quality of Final product manufactured on the plant supplied by the Foreign Supplier is not as per the requirement.

Now Supplier of Plant requires from us to export him Raw Material Samples for production testing at his foreign plant.

What will be Procedure for sending of Raw Materials Samples for testing on the Foreign supplier plant.

Please mention relevent policy provision of central excise, customs & forms requirement

18 April 2012 Samples having permanent marking as “sample not for sale” are allowed freely for export without any limit. However, in such cases where indelible marking is not available, the samples may be allowed for a value not exceeding US $ 10,000, per consignment.

as per new provision up to 3 lakhs sample can be send .
