Is there any update on rebate u/s 87a on STCG / LTCG for New tax regime. I heard it's available now.

If yes, shall we file revised or rectification return to claim back the demand paid?

TDS deduction requirement

Kidnly clarify the queries:

Is TDS required to be deducted in cases where 44AD / 44ADA is availed, where maintenance of books is not required?

Also is TDS required to be deducted on construction costs incurred by assessee? If yes, how will the disallowance apply, since this is not a revenue expenditure to make disallownce from profit?

Tax on sale of mhada redevelop flat

We have sold the mhada flat after redevelop. Got possession in Feb,2023 & sell the same in June 2024 for Rs.1 cr. Purchase cost 0 (trf. Property after husband death to wife in 2008 & go under redevelop in 2009) Ghatkopar East Mumbai.

I'm a salaried person and TDS 1 % under 194S(only purchased crypto no sale made). I'm filing ITR 3 and while confirming "Nature of Business" schedule, I'm getting the following warning.

At least one Business Code is mandatory either in Schedule Nature of Business or at Point 61 (44AD Table) or Point 62 (44ADA Table) or Point 63 (44AE Table) in Schedule Profit & Loss A/c.

One of my client received notice for defective return due to refund file of TDS u/s 194B & 194G of AY 2024-25 and his income also under basic exemption but still unable to get refund, now 31 dec nearby, plz guide how i do???

Capital gain on sale of flat in 2024

Dear Sir,
In a case, builder transferred possession of flat to assessee but due to lack of some approvals, builder did not done registry in favor of assessee. Now in 2024 assessee has sold out said flat. whether the said transaction would be covered under capital gain or not, as assessee did not had ever registry of said flat.
Please clarify.

Appeals pending - time limit

of litigation
all information u/s 250 is also given one year back
pls guide whether there is any time limit on the department to complete
the assessments and when should i expect the appeal assessment orders

LTCG on House Property 2024

Hi,
I sold a house yesterday for 60Lakhs , bought for 12Lakhs 10+ years back. Also, have made agreements with two builders to buy two flats , one in 2016 and the other in 2020. Both properties are under construction, as in not yet completed and no CC received yet. Final Registries are also due for the new flats and need to make payments to both builders , cumulatively exceeding the difference received.

1) How can the LTCG earned from the sale be utilised in this case ?

Please guide.
