i am working in a contracting company. we give contract to our sub contractors. we will give the payment in sub contractor company name but they don't have company pan card. but they have proprietors pan card. my question is what is the TDS % for person 1% but the payment made on Company name so now how much % will be deductable 1% or 2%?

Our company has engaged a ABC company to keep the boiler(product) in working condition. for this purpose, ABC company has sent engineers to the site done some repair and maintance and raised a bill for the visit of Engg @ Rs. 12,800 per day and also charged service tax on it. our Company is deducting TDS @ 2% on the gross amount.

My question is whether TDS deducted by our Company is as per provivion or Should TDS be deducted @ 10% as technical fees

WE ARE PAYING RENT FOR ANY PROPERTY WITH AGREEMENT. IF WE MAKE ANY RENOVATION ON THAT PROPERTY AT VERY LARGE COST.THEN CAN WE CAPITALIZED THAT COST OF WORK IN BUILDING A/C.
