Code Of Conduct & Professional Ethics

as chartered accountant, i have annaxed an audit report with the final accounts to be submitted with IT return of the firm that I have examined the balance sheet & P/L accounts of a firm and in my openion the books of accounts are in agreement with record produced before me ,simply.

nothing like whether it reflacts true & fair view or what are the qualifications in my openion or what is the conclusion.

whether i can claim my self to be previous auditor within the meaning CA Act.if in succeding year other chartered accountant compilesthe P/L & B/S of said firm without letting me know

Tax audit of CA'S a/cs.

I am a practising chartered accountant having gross receipts of Rs 5 lakhs per annum from my proprietory concern. At the same time I am a partner in another CA firm and from that firm I get remuneration and share of profit aggregating to Rs 7 lakhs per annum. Will my accounts are to be audited u/s 44AB if the Income tax act,1961.

As per First Schedule Part I, Clause (4), Can a practising member enter into a Partnership with any person resident abroad. Which institute's qualifications are recognised by the Central Govt or the council for the purpose of permitting such partnerships.

internal audit of stock brokers

Helli sir,

I have an assignment to conduct internal audit of a stock broker. The scope of audit will include following
1. the existence, scope and efficiency of the internal control system,
2. compliance with the provisions of the SEBI Act, 1992,
3. Securities Contracts (Regulation) Act 1956,
4. SEBI (Stock Brokers and Sub-Brokers) Regulations, 1992,
5. circulars issued by SEBI,
6. agreements,
7. KYC requirements,
8. Bye Laws of the Exchanges,
9. data security and insurance in respect of the operations of stock brokers/clearing members.

Can you pls provide some guidance as to how can I proceed or where can I get a literature on requirements of above laws for stock brokers.
