Exemption from Excise duty.

Dear all,

We are the manufacturer of Leaf spring (Motor Vehicle parts). We have are get order from Vehicle Factory, Jabalpur (Defence Department).

My question is that what is the correct procedure to supply to material to Defence without excise duty and this party will provide us form CT-2.

Pls guide me urgently.

Hi,

Company purhases M.S Angles, STeel Plates, etc for producing heavy engineering goods. It has taken excise duty credit when it was purchased.
While production, some scrap is generated. So i want to know about excise treatment.

Does the company need to reverse some amount of the excise duy credit taken ?

Also reply me abt the rule number which governs the excise treatment on scrap.

Manufacturar cum merchant exporter

we are the manufacturar exporter of the medical disposable items

we are register as a manufacturar exporter under central excise

now we have some order from overseas for the product which we can`t manufacture
now we are purchasing this material from the domestic supplier and want to export it we are not manufacturing this material we are only purchasing and exporting
can we do this without registered as the merchant exporter

pls advise

We are taking 50% credit of cenvat and CVD paid on capital goods. What about 4% additional duty paid on capital goods imported. Should we take 50% or can we take 100%. If we can take 100% is there any trade notice or notification to support this.

moulds trf

we are manufacturar exporter of medical disposable items in faridabad we also have another plant in sidcul haridwar(uttrakhand)which is duty free zone

we are importing mould on EPCG licence in faridabd and haridwar both plants
we are transfering the moulds between the plants on the excise invoice without paying the excise duty as the transfer of the moulds as required for the production purpose

is it the right process if not pls advice the right process

can we transfer these moulds on the job work challan from one plant to another plant

pls advise us the right porcess for the movement for the moulds between our above plants

STOCK TRF

Dear Sir,

we are manufacturar exporter medical disposables we have one plant in faridabad (harayana)and another plant in Sidcul haridwar (uttrakhand) which is duty free zone

we transfer our stock raw material,semi finish ,finished goods from one plat to another plant

i want to know that is we have to pay the excise duty on transfer the material from our faridabad plat to haridwar plat

plese advice us with reference

Excise query

We have purchased a machine and have taken cenvat. After few month using in production that machine we have sent to our branch for two month for production purpose. In this case, we have to pay excise duty on this. If, yes which value?
