I am one of the trustee of a private unregistered trust, which was created by my father and has two trustees at present. Due to personal issues we are unable to carry out the functioning of the trust and would like to close it. The trust has only one account and we propose to transfer the entire balance in the savings account of the trust to another trust and close the trust account.

Can we do it and are we supposed to advise or report to any authority about such closure. The trust has its own PAN No. & since we are regularly filing the trust IT Returns are we required to report the closure to IT authorities and also surrender the Pan Card.

If an Institute recruits adjunct faculty/teacher on the following terms:
1. Consolidated salary
2. Work days are lesser than usual 5 days a week. it can be 4 days a week or 3 days a week.
3.These faculty /teacher are on 3years' contract. Contract gets renewed just after completion of one contract period.
4. A few faculty/teacher have completed 10 years on the job as adjunct teacher/ faculty.
As they are not working for all working days in a week, they do not fulfill the requirement of 240 days working in a year for gratuity payment.
My query is, are such employees eligible for gratuity payment under Gratuity Act?

Please help me to understand NPS Contribution from Employer.

1. If One employer need to contribute NPS to their employees, what needs to be done for this ?
2. How to decide contribution amount ? Is there any limit ?
3. If one employee CTC is 5 Lakh, then Contribution amount is taken from 5 Lakh ? or Company contribute ?
4. Same will be reflect in Payslip ? I mean , this will show any component like NPS (Both earning and deduction side)
5. Tax Eligibility

Please help me to understand steps by steps.
