ABC Co a builder has taken land from Mr X in collaboration. ABC co. is building residential complex. ABC Co. will give two flat to Mr X in consideration of land and remaining flats are being sold by abc company to customers. what will be the accounting and taxation treatment for above transaction. Please suggest.

I have cleared ipcc both groups in august 2014 and now I want to pursue CA FINAL, articleship along with MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.Is it permitted and if yes then what is the procedure to do that.

i am an accountant.

1) in my company there is printer repair expense in march 2013. cheque paid on 15th march 2013. but it is cleared in next accounting year i.e april 2014. now to close the accounts, what entries i have to pass as still the amount is uncleared in bank.

2) In the month of May 2014 I issued a cheque towards rent but it cleared in June 2014. Now during reconciliation i found the same. do i need to reverse the entry in tally to match balance as per bank and cash book? or just preparing manual BRS statement is ok

As per companies act it is mandatory to follow Mercantile system of accounting.

But, professional entity is required to follow cash system of accounting.

Can anyone guide Professional compnay has to follow cash or mercantile systme of accounting.
