Booking of bills for tds

i have received a service invoice which is related to March 16 and the bill date is 01/04/2016.
Please advise about the TDS Deduction whether it could be deducted in March 16 or April 16.

As the service related to March book and deduct TDS in March and remit TDS on or before 30th April 16.
