19 January 2016 Section 174 of Companies Act , 2013 says that if Board Meeting can not be held for want of Quorum then that meeting shall automatically stand adjourned next week, same time & place but how much time for waiting of Quorum to present in Board Meeting or how much time directors should wait for quorum to adjourn the meeting ??

19 January 2016 As per my knowledge in the Secretarial Standard -1 or Companies act, 2013 both doesnt proviede for the time period in which if quorum not present meeting will be adjourned.But as per clause 70 of Table F of Schedule I if Chairman dont present within 5 minute directors can choose from them any one as chairman so same criteria we can choose in case of quorum.
