08 August 2010 A partnership firm has started the buss of manufacturing metal sheets (AC parts, heating equipments, etc)

The firm will be purchasing raw materials from Maharashtra and exporting the finished product.

The firm has already taken VAT registration. The firm will apply for IEC code.
What other benefits will be enjoyed by the firm with respect to customs and excise.

Further, pl let me know about various registrations required by the firm to enjoy the benefits and also the customs and excise duty rate.

08 August 2010 the firm will eligible for rfund of vat, excise which is paying at the time of purchase.

the firm can claim either duty drawback or DEPB benifit wich is given by the DGFT.
After receiving the DEPB license he can sale it to the importer.

from bank the firm can avail PACKING CREDIT limit instead of CC. THE INTEREST RATE FOR PC IS GENERALLY 7.5% - 9%
