12 June 2011 Good moring, My company is a construction company so we are purchasing lot of machinery and vehicles so we are not able to track the put use of asset. For big machinery means erection need machinery i am taking a approximate date and to other vehicles(Like tippers and other ready to use)i am taking invoice date as put use date. is it acceptable or not. If in case we purchasing vehicles from other countries, shall i take invoice date as put use date.

12 June 2011 when its recd in your site for use then toy can take on same date. if its on head office then transfer to site. then reaching date of working site will be applicable. if site is off due to rain then wait for start of work.
