28 November 2007 dear sir/madam,
recently i came to know about some change in the time period of articleship before attempting final.
i have heard that the period has been reduced to 2yrs from what it used to be 2&1/2 yrs. And some are saying that in my case it will b 2& 1/2 yrs because the new 2yrs rule is applicable only to students registered in Old Final. As i will be clearing PE2 in 2008 (either in Jan'08-for Nov'07 or in July'08-for May'08) and will be gettin regstered in the New Final.
Pls clarify.

28 November 2007 The attempt under PE II pass out will be 2 years as articleship under PE II is of 3 years. Under PCC it is 3 1/2 years.
Therefore it is 2 1/2 years.
